Lifehack: Run Linux from Within Windows
Microsoft Vista is available - yawn. Maybe you'd like to try something new on your PC, but you don't want to upgrade the hardware, and you don't want to shell out a lot of cash. Perhaps you've even considered taking the road less traveled by installing Linux. It's a big step, and it may or may not be what you're looking for. Fortunately, you can try it out from within windows to see if it will meet your needs. The nice people at Lifehack.org have created a tutorial to help you setup Linux in a virtual machine on your computer.
